V-O-A'S JIM RANDLE REPORTS ON THE LATEST CONFRONTATION BETWEEN IRAQ AND WESTERN PLANES ENFORCING THE NO FLY ZONES OVER IRAQ TEXT: U-S OFFICIALS SAY IN TWO OF THE INCIDENTS, U-S PLANES WERE TARGETED BY RADAR LINKED TO IRAQI AIR DEFENSES. BOTH PILOTS LAUNCHED MISSILES, ONE WAS A RADAR SEEKING DEVICE. IN OTHER INCIDENTS U-S PLANES AIMED LASER-GUIDED BOMBS AT IRAQI ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS. NO WORD YET ON DAMAGE ON THE GROUND. THE ACTION FOLLOWS MONDAY'S INCIDENT NEAR THE SOUTHERN CITY OF BASRA IN WHICH IRAQI OFFICIALS SAY A U-S MISSILE KILLED SOME CIVILIANS.
