SLAVNEFT SIGNS ACCORD WITH IRAQ. Slavneft, the Russian-
Belarusian oil company, has signed a preliminary agreement
with Iraq to development that country's Subba oil field,
Interfax reported on 8 November. Citing commercial
confidentiality, Slavneft President Andrei Shtorkh refused to
give any details of the accord. PG
