CE’s leadership on handling Kashmir issue appreciated: Imtiaz Alam

ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (APP): Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf has reinforced his credibility on the question of Kashmir and he has succeeded in building up his image as a leader who is very radical and firm on the question of Kashmir. These views were expressed by a prominent journalist and incharge of current affairs section of daily "News" Lahore, Imtiaz Alam during an interview to VOG. He said, Musharraf government has played its due role for the resumption of Indo-Pak dialogue. Interference across the LoC has been reduced considerably and things have been kept quite cool along the LoC. Unilateral cease-fire is also being observed. He expressed the hope that two countries have come in full circle and are now returning to Lahore process once more. "My personal thinking is that the dialogue will resume right from the point where it broke off and if this happens then I believe it will be a great progress because this time it is being accomplished at the hands of Pakistan’s armed forces."
