Pakistan has denied U.S. allegations that China is helping its longtime ally develop advanced ballistic missiles.

Foreign ministry spokesman Aziz Ahmad Khan said Saturday Pakistan's program is totally indigenous. He added that there is no truth to reports that China has supplied nuclear missile technology to Pakistan.

His comments came in response to questions about an unclassified CIA report presented recently to the U.S. Congress, which said Chinese institutions provided significant assistance to Pakistan's missile program last year.
