Biography

Matthew Buongiorno is a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists (FAS), where he works with the Arms Sales Monitoring Project and Nuclear Information Project. He joined FAS in September 2009.

In addition to his work with FAS, Buongiorno is on staff for the National Model United Nations, a national program that hosts the world’s largest collegiate Model U.N. conferences and allows more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually to address global issues discussed by the real U.N.

Buongiorno graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2009 with degrees in political science and economics.
