Biography
Katarzyna (Kasia) Bzdak is a Scoville Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, and works primarily on conventional arms transfers. Ms. Bzdak matriculated from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in 2007, with a master’s degree in international affairs and a concentration in international security policy. While attaining her graduate degree, she was a research assistant for the Saltzman Institute’s Comparative Defense Studies Program and a program assistant in international economics. Before attending Columbia, Ms. Bzdak worked as a studies program research associate at the Pacific Council on International Policy in Los Angeles.
She attained a dual B.A. in political science and international affairs at the University of Southern California in 2004. Ms. Bzdak is a recipient of a Columbia University Fellowship, the DACOR Bacon House Foundation Fellowship, and a Judy Boggs Memorial Fellowship.
