Patil, Sachin
Biography
Sachin Patil is a Research Associate in the Learning Technologies Program of the Federation of American Scientists, whose work focuses on human computer interaction techniques in technology enabled learning.
He firmly believes that most of the hurdles in expanding the reach of learning technologies can be overcome, if there is an easily accessible dedicated platform that supports “plug and play” learning tools. Currently, he is exploring virtual worlds, which he calls, “future authoring environments for e-Learning applications and training simulations.”
Patil earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pune University in India, and holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
