JUNO

Under consideration, in conjunction with the US, is a small ultraviolet astronomical platform. The 300-kg class JUNO satellite would be developed by Alenia Spazio under sponsorship of the Italian Space Agency and would carry scientific instruments furnished by NASA. No formal program has yet been approved, and a launch is unlikely before the end of the decade (Reference 56).
