Flying Training

AIRCREW TRAINING

MCR 51-1, Volume I(cc), AFSPACECOM Chapter 7, is as follows and applies to HQ AFSPACECOM and subordinate units with fixed-wing aircraft operations.

7.1. General. This chapter establishes AFSPACECOM specific guidance for OSA aircraft and applies to aircrews assigned to AFSPACECOM. (Reference chapter 1, paragraph 1.1)

7.2. Training Review Panel (TRP). This function is conducted at the flying unit level. Send a copy of the minutes to the operations group standardization/evaluation office. (Reference chapter 1, paragraph 1.2.3.2)

7.3. Event Accomplishment Report (EAR). The AFORMS-generated Mission Accomplishment Report (MAR) is used to record continuation flight training. (Reference chapter 1, paragraph 1.3.1.26)

7.4. Waiver Authority. For AFSPACECOM, waiver authority rests with the Operations Group Commander. (Reference chapter 1, paragraph 1.5.2)

7.5. Waiver Requests. Waiver requests requiring higher headquarters actions will be sent to AFSPACECOM/DOGH. (Reference chapter 1, paragraph 1.5.5)

7.6. Written Examinations. Satisfy requirements in SR 60-1. (Reference chapter 2, paragraph 2.4.2.2)

7.7. Senior Officer Qualification. Qualification of senior officers in AFSPACECOM is in accordance with AFR 60-1/S Sup 1. (Reference chapter 2, paragraph 2.7)

7.8. In-Unit Upgrade. In-unit upgrade is the primary method for C-21A aircraft commander upgrade. Use the approved C-21A Pilot Training Guide series. A waiver for this in-unit training is not required. (Reference chapter 5, paragraph 5.2.2)
