SUBJECT: Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) Pre-Engineering &

Manufacturing Development (Pre-EMD) Module Call for Improvement

(CFI) F04701-96-R-0008 - Amendment 0002

1. The subject Call For Improvement (CFI) has been amended to incorporate the following changes:

a. CFI Section 2, paragraph 2.5.1, Page 8 - The last sentence of the paragraph has been changed to remove the term "base support."

b. CFI Section 2, paragraph 2.6.2.1, Page 10, Standard 8 - In paragraph (a) of the standard, the reference to "LCCV SPD paragraph 3.2.3.3.3, Pyro Shock", as reflected in CFI Amendment 1, has been replaced with the original CFI language, which is "LCCV SPD Annex C."

c. CFI Section 3, paragraph 3.6, Page 26 and 27 - The file contents for ATTACH7.DOC and APPEND7.PDF have been removed and the word "RESERVED" has been inserted in their places.

d. CFI Section 3, paragraph 3.7.8.5, Page 33 - The entire paragraph has been deleted and the word "RESERVED" has been inserted in its place.

e. CFI Section 3, paragraph 3.8.2.6, Page 35 - The underlined sentence in the second paragraph of ATCH 6B has been modified to remove references to base support and attachment 7.

f. CFI Section 3, paragraph 3.8.3.7, Page 36 - The entire paragraph has been deleted and the word "RESERVED" has been inserted in its place.

g. CFI Annex 4, Model Contract, Section H, Pages 73 and 74 - Air Force Materiel Command FAR Supplement Clause 5352.245-9000, Base Support, has been deleted.

h. CFI Annex 8, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD-254), Pages 262 and 263 - Block 10h has been modified to remove the requirement for access to Foreign Government Information, and to change the signatory.
