Enhanced Tactical Radar Correlator (ETRAC) (U)

Overview (U):

(U) The Enhanced Tactical Radar Correlator (ETRAC) is the Army's latest generation of systems for tactical exploitation of national capabilities. ETRAC is a radar imagery processing system that provides data to the Corps commander. There are two ETRAC systems currently deployed, one in direct support of XVIII Airborne Corps, Ft Bragg, NC and one at V Corps, Mainz-Finthen, Germany.

Description (U):

(U) The system is used for mission planning, host database, imagery receiving/archiving, reporting, and secondary imagery dissemination.

(U) ETRAC interfaces with ASAS/ETUT/MITT/FAST through SUCCESS/JTT and the Chariot radios, AUTODIN/DMS connectivity, JWICS/SIPRNET, and mobile Subscriber.

(U) The ETRAC consists of the following components:
- Mission van and a small commercial tractor with a floating 5th wheel, the support van, a 113Kw generator
- Modular Interoperable Surface Terminal (MIST) antenna trailer.

(U) THe ETRAC is a highly mobile system that can be driven on or off C-130 aircraft. This allows the system to provide direct support as part of early operations.
