Q. Does the U.S. government believe that North Korea is violating U.S. efforts to limit arms proliferation in the Middle East.?

1. We are concerned that North Korea is transferring destabilizing weapons to the Middle East.

The United States is particularly opposed to the proliferation of surface-to-surface missiles in the Middle East. We would view with great concern any transfer of this type.
