SECTION D - PACKAGING AND MARKING

All deliverable contract items shall be packaged in accordance with Contractor's best commercial methods to ensure safe arrival at destination.

SECTION E - INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE

4. REQUIREMENTS FOR DATA ACCEPTANCE -EXHIBIT.

The Contractor shall prepare and submit a DD Form 250 on an annual basis collectively accounting for all completed Exhibit Line Items which called for submission of data with a letter of transmittal. Each periodic DD Form 250 shall include a list and an account of all data submitted.

5. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF NON-COMMERCIAL ITEMS.

a. Notwithstanding the requirement of the FAR clauses incorporated by reference in paragraph 2, above, the Contractor is authorized to use existing industry quality assurance, configuration management, engineering and program management processes, procedures, and
standards as determined acceptable by the Government. The Air Force will be the focal point for waiver requests regarding air worthiness, safety of flight, certification and registration of the ABL weapon system.

b. For aircraft modifications, inspection and certification will employ best commercial practices including FAA certification. The FAA will be the cognizant authority for oversight and acceptance of these aircraft modifications.

6. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS (CLINS 0003-0005 & 0008-0010)

Commercial items, including hardware, data, and services, delivered under this contract shall be inspected and accepted in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 (a), Inspection/Acceptance. Delivery of CLINs 0003-0005 & CLINs 0008-0010 shall be at a location designated by the Contractor and approved by the Government with adequate advance notice to the Government's designated representative. Delivery of the aircraft in CLINs 0003 & 0008 shall be by Commercial Bill of Sale (see Special Provision H-21).
