A. DESCRIPTION: CONSISTS OF A BALLASTED TACTICAL CANISTER SHELL DUPLICATING THE PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS, I.E., APPEARANCE, WEIGHT AND CENTER OF GRAVITY OF THE TACTICAL MISSILE. B. CAPABILITIES: ELECTRICAL SENSING IS PROVIDED FOR THE FUNCTION RESTRAINT PIN OPERATING LEVELSIMILAR TO A TACTICAL MISSILE ROUND AN ELECT SIMULATOR MOUNTED INSIDE THE CANASTER PROVIDES RESPONSES THAT SIMULATE "MISSILE SAFE" TO THE LAUNCHER ELECTRONICS FOR ALL FUNCTIONS EXCEPT LAUNCH RELATED FUNCTIONS. C. EMPLOYMENT: USED BY USAADACSH, FORSCOM AND 32ND AADCOM TO PRO- VIDE CREW TRAINING IN THE LOADING PROCEDURES OF PATRIOT MISSILES ONTO THE PATRIOT LAUNCHER. D. BASIS OF ISSUE: 4 EACH PER PATRIOT BATTERY, 32 EACH AT USAADASCH. E. POWER REQS: WILL BE SUPPLIED BY THE MISSILE LAUNCHER. F. TRANSPORTATION REQS: TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE BATTALION MISSILE RESUPPLY VEHICLES. G. PERSONNEL/MAINTENANCE IMPACTS: (1) OPERATOR: A. CREW SIZE/MOS: 16T. B. TRAINING REQS: SAME AS 16T MISSILE HANDLER/DRIVER (2) MAINTAINERS: A. UNIT MAINTENANCE: WG-2608 DIGITAL ELECT MECH B. DS/GS MAINTENANCES: WG2608 H.
