Consequence Management.* Interagency services and activities
essential to mitigating damage, loss, hardship or suffering
resulting from disasters or catastrophes, either manmade or natural.
Crisis Management.* Measures to resolve a hostile situation and
investigate and prepare a criminal case for prosecution under federal law.
Weapon of Mass Destruction.** Weapons that are capable of a high order of destruction and/or of being used in such a manner as to destroy large numbers of people. Can be high explosives or nuclear, chemical, biological, and radiological weapons, but excludes the means of transporting or propelling the weapon where such means is a separable and divisible part of the weapon
