A lot is going on The R&D community is looking at a wide scope of detection devices for example, and conducting ACTDs such as JBREWS--Joint Biological Reporting Early Warning System the Marine CBIRF and Army’s TEU did a Bio-911 ACTD together to look at their equipment and TTPS and interoperability.
Training is taking place under the auspices of the Army. Thus far 20,00 students have attended this train the trainer program..
We heard that decisions concerning UCP changes have been made with internal announcements being imminent. A JTF civil support will come under a new JFCOM (USACOM renamed ) It will handle manmade disasters, while DOMS sticks with natural disasters and other missions, at least for now.
