DUKE FIELD Fla. (AFNS) -- Col. James Kretzschmar, Expeditionary Force Experiment '98 joint-visitors bureau director, salutes as the C-135 Speckled Trout aircraft rolls onto the flightline here Sept. 16. The Speckled Trout communications aircraft gives the Joint Forces Air Component commander a limited ability to plan and control the simulated battle while in the air en route to the crisis area. This capability would be critical in the face of an advancing foe, officials said. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Jason Tudor)
