AN/SSQ-91(V)() Combat Simulation Test System

The Combat Simulation Test System (CSTS) AN/SSQ-91 is a common reactive target and global, real-world terrain and environmental generation system that provides for coordinated test/training operations and transparent monitoring of specific Combat System interfaces for performance assessment. The AN/SSQ-91 generates simultaneous signal and data inputs which are injected into the ships equipment providing the capability to create various scenarios ranging from simple single-threat to complex multi-threat situations. The scenarios include threat (both target and weapon) performance parameters, ownship parameters, and environmental parameters. The AN/SSQ-91 provides the capability (for specific sensors) to either inject simulated data in a "live" environment, or replace the sensor in the combat system and simulate the sensor output.
