President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate three individuals and appoint six individuals to serve in his administration:

The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Public Interest Declassification Board:

L. Britt Snider, of Virginia, for an initial four-year term and designate chairman for a two year-term upon appointment

Martin Faga, of Virginia, for an initial four-year term

Steven Garfinkel, of Maryland, for an initial four-year term

Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, of California, for an initial three-year term

Richard N. Smith, of Illinois, for an initial two-year term
